Press Burger is the public-facing brand operated by Burgers LLC for the New Canaan, Connecticut location and PB Wilton LLC for the Wilton, Connecticut location. In this policy, “Press Burger,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the relevant operator for the location or service you interact with.

This policy describes information handled through our website, inquiries, ordering services, customer marketing, and recruitment, including applications submitted through Facebook or Instagram Instant Forms. Other platforms may also process information under their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

Information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, messages, marketing preferences, and information submitted through inquiries or forms. When you order through our ordering or delivery providers, information handled in connection with the order may include contact details, order contents, delivery instructions, transaction information, and delivery address where applicable. Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical information, or other sensitive information in an initial hiring form.

Our website and its analytics and advertising tools may automatically collect information about your browser, device, network, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, timestamps, and cookie or similar identifiers. The information collected depends on the tool and your settings.

How information is used

We use information to respond to inquiries; support orders and customer service; operate and improve our website and restaurant services; send customer marketing according to applicable consent requirements and preferences; measure website traffic and advertising results; support retargeting; review job applications and communicate about hiring; and address operational, security, recordkeeping, and legal needs.

Job applicants and Meta Instant Forms

If you submit a hiring form through Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects your submission through its platform and makes it available to Press Burger. We use application information to evaluate your experience and availability and communicate about recruitment and next steps. Press Burger receives the applications. Submitting an application is not a subscription to customer email or SMS marketing.

Meta and other recruiting platforms also handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. This notice does not replace those policies.

Platforms and service providers

We use Squarespace for website hosting, Toast for point-of-sale and online ordering, and Klaviyo for customer email and SMS marketing. Delivery services include Grubhub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats.

Customer information is primarily stored within the platforms used to provide these services. Access is limited to our team and relevant service providers as needed for their work. Providers may handle information on our behalf, and some providers also process information for their own purposes as described in their policies. When you use a third-party ordering or delivery service, review the privacy information provided by that service.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or as necessary to respond to legal requests and protect rights or safety.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tracking tags and Google Analytics to understand website traffic and visitor activity. We use the Meta Pixel for advertising conversion measurement and retargeting, which can help display Press Burger ads to people who have interacted with our website.

These tools can use cookies and similar technologies to collect or receive information about website activity. Google and Meta may associate activity with other information available to them, subject to their own policies and settings. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool; it is distinct from the analytics and advertising services it loads.

Email and SMS marketing

We use Klaviyo to support customer email and SMS communications. Information used for these communications may include contact details, subscription preferences, consent records, and interactions with messages.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. To opt out of marketing text messages, follow the instructions in the message, including replying STOP where supported. Contact Info@ThePressBurger.com if you need assistance with your preferences. Service-related communications may be handled separately from marketing.

This privacy policy does not by itself obtain consent to receive marketing messages or replace any program-specific SMS terms and signup disclosures.

Retention
